Pros

I enjoyed working with members on my team and felt like junior staff were always willing to help others, opportunities for travel

Cons

Extremely poor salaries and compensation - pay does not reflect market value for nonprofits in DC, very little benefits offered, no upward mobility, work is constantly deflected to junior employees, lack of diversity / equity / inclusion, incredibly stressful environment
