Pros

Nothing outstanding in comparison to other agencies

Cons

Timesheet / Payroll system are full of glitches, Zero's out your weekly hours consistently, No warning your hours are erased, No warning you will not receive your pay check. No alert from agency to warn you that your timesheet is zero'd out. No alert from agency that you will not receive your paycheck, No availability from rep to rectify situation - "in a meeting" or "out of office". No action from agency to rectify payroll issues. ONGOING issues, 15 months of working for IG, and paycheck was delayed at least 12 times. First pay check took over 4 weeks to receive due to rep being out of office and giving incorrect link to timesheet. Horrible payroll issues and NO communication from agency. Do NOT recommend if you need your paycheck but if you do a fabulous professional job for free then they are great to work for, otherwise, go with another agency.

Pros

Pros: - Great first job for fresh grads for the experience and getting into the working world for 1-2 years before moving onto a new opportunity - Working with people your age, easy to make lifelong friends, socialize, and network. It helps for a smooth transition into your career from college having that. The people are why you enjoy working there. - Their training, exposure, expectations and constant feedback will challenge you in a way that will make you mature into the working world quickly, both growing your soft skills and sharpening your professionalism, which will prepare you for any roles beyond this. It pushes you and teaches you invaluable lessons that you'll use for the rest of your career. Also instills a strong work ethic in you. - Stability, they do not fire often. If you're struggling or something isn't working management will step in to support you if you are willing to give it your all. - Once promoted, pay gets much better with commission.

Cons

Cons: - Exceeding production metrics means everything, and working extra hours to hit them is the unspoken expectation. - Commission is fast and fleeting, the "spread roller coaster". Some of the uncontrollables can effect your commission instantly. - Political, and Work life bleeds into personal life - When you're on PTO expect to still be "available", including on sick days. When taking sick days, you are still expected to hit all numbers for the week. - Benefits are not good

Pros

Not a single PRO left.

Cons

Where to begin? I'm sure you've all heard this place is a pyramid scheme, a cult, etc. - it is actually worse than you can imagine. This isn't coming from an angry employee, this is coming from someone who genuinely wants to let people know what they will be getting themselves into. When you first join the company, you start out as a recruiter and are pushed to get promoted in ~6 months to either a Professional Recruiter or Account Manager. The starting rate is ~$37k, which turns out to be around $30k after taxes, 401k and healthcare deductions. After you are worked to the bone with no commission for 6-7 months, you are then required to make the company an additional minimum revenue on a weekly basis BEFORE you get to see a dollar of commission. They preach all about taking care of their employees and lecture their clients that in this competitive economy companies need to offer $18/hr minimum because places like Amazon are offering high wages for entry level jobs....yet they don't even do that for their own employees. The wages are unlivable and they dangle the idea of possibly making 6 figures in front of everyone. To clarify, your commission is based on the weekly revenue brought in, whereas other sales jobs you have a yearly performance goal. Insight Global manipulates and gaslights their employees like no other. As mentioned before, they are constantly shoving the idea of making 6 figures down everyone's throats. They talk about how this is the ONLY place to see this kind of success. When someone quits, they will tell everyone that the person left because they just didn't want to work hard... yet refuse to realize people just don't want to work this hard for a $50k base (once promoted)....and don't get your hopes up for a yearly raise because that's out of the question at this company. This place preys on fresh college grads to brain wash them and take advantage of their willingness to work for $30k while they continue to run a MULTI-BILLION dollar organization. Your mental health will be tarnished at a place like this.. Probably why one of their benefits is free counseling.
