Pros

Makes you feel welcome immediately Provides all the buzz words and language to make you feel you will never need to find another place to work. Makes you feel like you've finally made it to the workplace that you will finish your career at.

Cons

6 mo into the job I was left wondering, "What the hell happened!?" The promises they made at the beginning, the mentors that I was assured I would have, and the great work-life balance they told me I'd never have to worry about.... all went away or never came. I couldnt get the support I needed I asked for. Even when told, "There's no such thing as a stupid question!", the looks management would give you makes you regret even thinking about asking. Folks, read all reviews before joining IG. I focused on the positives thinking the negatives were just disgruntled employees (IG make you think this). But its a reoccurring theme. Its not what they make you think the job is going to be.

Pros

**Workplace had great energy, happy hours, events outside of work to make you feel like you belong (everyone is family pretty much) **Learned some great skills, a good view of corporate environment right out of college and ways to network with other companies in the area **Pretty much, a great resume builder and a way to learn how to interview well with other companies

Cons

**Wasn't really sure what I was getting myself into after I graduated and took this job, worked at a career fair with IG and the talent specialist told me not to focus on telling them about recruiting, but to sell them the "client lunches and happy hours". Might help your turnover rate if you actually let people know what they're gonna be doing at that job. **no flexibility with hours- want you in by 7:30 Am and don't you dare try leaving before 5pm. On top of that, happy hours or client meetings that occur after 5 might keep you there until 6-7pm. Yes you're getting free drinks, but youre also working long long hours. It sometimes is exhausting. **high measure of standards, yes its a fast work environment, but many of my colleagues were consistently working late and then on Sunday to just keep up with the work. Its a quick and easy way to burn out. **Really high turnover rate, its not a MLM or pyramid scheme but the amount of people who come and go is hard to keep track of. **really only a few routes you can go- either become a professional recruiter or become an account manager (sales). No real other option even if they try to spin it like there is.

Pros

My sales manager was nice

Cons

Oh man where to start… -Terrible pay that takes an insane amount of effort and stress to get even the slightest raise -Your pay after promotion can literally drop instantly after a manager decides to take their business elsewhere -Everyone talks badly about each other causing constant drama. Daily breakdowns and personal drama taken to work guaranteed -You’re expected to spend your personal time outside of work with your coworkers. This means after work and on the weekends. If you don’t, people will talk badly about you for not abiding to the cult’s rules. If you prioritize seeing your loved ones, or hitting the gym after work, you won’t be one of the favorites, thus putting you on the back burner for promotion. -ABSOLUTE WORST PART ABOUT INSIGHT GLOBAL…They know NOTHING about what it takes to be a leader. Your account manager and other supervisors will constantly send emails to you and the whole leadership team explaining why and how you messed up. It’s extremely discouraging thus, making productivity worse. Read a book about leadership, literally any good/accredited novel about leadership will tell you that encouragement and positive reinforcement is the key to getting the most out of employees. IG does the exact opposite every day -All the senior AM’s expect you to be slaves for them on their business, and Will literally talk to you like you are trash. I’ve been scolded for not finding the perfect candidates and have literally been so anxious dealing with these people. You start to ponder if $500 a week is worth all that they put you through. -HUGE ONE RIGHT HERE. Insight global loves to portray an image that says they care about people and are proud of the work they do in helping people find jobs. All that sounds great right? False. All of management will constantly pressure you to lock candidates down at a super low rate so the company can make more money off of the transaction. Almost every contractor that gets hired through IG is severely underpaid in their field of work. It’s clear they care way more about making as much money as possible than they do taking care of unemployed citizens
