Pros
Upon graduating, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in sales. Insight Global stuck out to me over the rest because of the opportunity, the long term career potential, and the great employees. I have been with Insight Global ever since and have truly found the company I want to retire with! I started off as a recruiter learning the IT ropes. I spent nights, weekends, 70+ hour weeks learning as much as possible so that I understood the majority of skill sets in IT. Infrastructure, telecom., programming, development, project management, etc. I clearly stood out above my peers due to my dedication and work ethic. This gave me the best opportunity possible to take over some large accounts for an Account Manager that moved into a management role! He was promoted to Sales Manager for our Boston office and I was chosen to transition with him and begin my sales career dedicated to downtown Atlanta. Since then, I have been working with my accounts establishing relationships and learning everyone’s individual requirements. It is extremely important to me that I come through for the hiring managers and make their lives easier with qualified candidates and efficient turnaround time. I understand the value of the vendor partnership and my goal is to be valued as one of the best partners within my accounts. I hit our sales contest my first full year in sales and earned $10,000 cash, $10,000 in stock, and a trip to the Atlantis. I earned 100K my second year here and now I am getting started on my third. The compensation is great and the people are wonderful to work with. It is very much a team environment and you learn so much from everyone around you. It is definitely a great place to work!
Cons
None really.. Since, I have to say some: -Long hours some times ( for your own benefit ) -Doing my expense report once a month ( which is also kind of a benefit bc I dont have to pay for a ton of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, manicures, pedicures, golf, and sporting events that I go to and get to eat and drink at as well! ) -Not a lot of vacation days your first two years ( also, for your own benefit! )
