Pros

The relationships that you build with your fellow co-workers are some of the best friends you will make. There is a strong emphasis on confronting any and all issues that arrise, which influences professional and personal growth. Hands on training and a mentality of making the "big mistake" instead of the "sit and wait" concept. Sales training from day one and a personal sales mentor. Commission is strong after you get your first promosion, which motivates you to work hard towards that next level. There are no boundaries with this company in any sense, which is something you cannot find at a lot of companies. What i mean by that is a couple of things. First, you are able to access the Executives/Upper Management at anytime...they openily offer up their cellphone numbers to you. Also, there is no barrier in this company to create a new position for yourself, which is something I feel is extremely rare. You are rewarded greatly for your success.

Cons

This is not a job for everyone. In order to be successful you will have to sacrifice a great deal of your time. The first year you are working will be the hardest you have worked in your life, which can be seen as a positive and a negative. You create such close relationships with your co-workers that it is bittersweet if they decide to move on to other positions.

Opportunity to be successful

Pros

Let me start off by saying this job is not for everyone. What this is an excellent opportunity that can lay the groundwork for a very successful career at a young age. Yes, this will probably be the hardest job you will ever work. The hours can be long and the work can be stressful at times, but the end result is directly correlated to your hard work. The culture of the company is very fast-paced and driven, and a lot is expected of you, but if you're willing to put in the work, I can ensure you that you will reap the rewards. That being said, it's also a lot of fun. Being in a fast-paced environment with people who are the same age and share similar interests make everyday enjoyable and will allow you to build lifelong friendships. Even though the company is growing rapidly, management will still know your name and will take individual time to ensure your personal development. I believe it's the combination of the aforementioned qualities that make Insight Global one of the best places to work.

Cons

Long hours and work can be stressful at times, but that's to be expected

Pros

Upon graduating, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in sales. Insight Global stuck out to me over the rest because of the opportunity, the long term career potential, and the great employees. I have been with Insight Global ever since and have truly found the company I want to retire with! I started off as a recruiter learning the IT ropes. I spent nights, weekends, 70+ hour weeks learning as much as possible so that I understood the majority of skill sets in IT. Infrastructure, telecom., programming, development, project management, etc. I clearly stood out above my peers due to my dedication and work ethic. This gave me the best opportunity possible to take over some large accounts for an Account Manager that moved into a management role! He was promoted to Sales Manager for our Boston office and I was chosen to transition with him and begin my sales career dedicated to downtown Atlanta. Since then, I have been working with my accounts establishing relationships and learning everyone’s individual requirements. It is extremely important to me that I come through for the hiring managers and make their lives easier with qualified candidates and efficient turnaround time. I understand the value of the vendor partnership and my goal is to be valued as one of the best partners within my accounts. I hit our sales contest my first full year in sales and earned $10,000 cash, $10,000 in stock, and a trip to the Atlantis. I earned 100K my second year here and now I am getting started on my third. The compensation is great and the people are wonderful to work with. It is very much a team environment and you learn so much from everyone around you. It is definitely a great place to work!

Cons

None really.. Since, I have to say some: -Long hours some times ( for your own benefit ) -Doing my expense report once a month ( which is also kind of a benefit bc I dont have to pay for a ton of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, manicures, pedicures, golf, and sporting events that I go to and get to eat and drink at as well! ) -Not a lot of vacation days your first two years ( also, for your own benefit! )
