Pros

I've been with Insight Global since 2017. In that time, I have paid witness to some very pivotal and drastic positive transformations that the company as a whole has made. If you are hired at Insight Global today, you'll truly feel taken care of both personally and professionally. IG is a people-first company, and the purpose that they claim is to grow their people so that they can be the light for the world. But it wasn't always this way. In 2017, leadership and executives finally faced the reality that the culture was broken. The 8 core values that they claimed were simply just words on a wall. The company lacked a purpose bigger than themselves, and their own people were firing them, one after another. IG had truly lost their way. It wasn't until Bert Bean was promoted to CEO that the most significant changes were immediately implanted to make long-lasting improvements. And he did just that, leading the company culture transformation, where the company went from an attrition model of survival of the fittest, to a development model where everyone matters. That culture of development permeated into every team and corner of the company. You'll definitely feel a sense of belonging. The people at Insight Global genuinely care about one another (in and outside of the office) which has created more of a family rather than a business. I would say that if you are interested in joining Insight Global for expedited career advancements, networking, meaningful relationships, and growth it will be the best decision you'll probably ever make. The company has truly changed my life forever.

Cons

Just like anyone, I have struggled at Insight Global. I'll go into some more details, but the one bit of advice I will give to you when joining the company is to make sure that you are motivated and fulfilled by sales. Insight Global and the Account Manager role is probably the most "noble" sales role you can have. I say that because you are selling the company's staffing services and building meaningful relationships with clients in order to stimulate and contribute to the growth of the job market. That doesn't mean that it doesn't come without it's challenges. For my first two years of account management I struggled, and I struggled real hard. I felt like I was going on an infinite number of client meetings and never seeing any return on my investment of effort. I was bending over backwards for bad business too because it was all I could get at the time. And despite all of this, I also got the feedback from my leadership that my biggest strong suit was my ability to build relationships and genuine relationships at that, and that success will come soon. Success unfortunately didn’t come soon. And I continued to struggle and was constantly finding myself below my growth line. And that feeling of being stuck and frustrated were everyday emotions. But Insight Global cared about me. They wrapped their arms around me and provided me with additional support and training. Shortly after that, I began seeing success and breaking milestones.

Pros

-you will end up meeting some of your best friends in the office -fun conferences and work trips if you are into the party and drinking scene

Cons

I could go on for days. There is no possible way to list out every negative aspect of this job but please note that this is a terrible, terrible company to work for. I am not the type of person to write reviews about every negative experience I have had but I felt like I needed to get this on here so that anyone interviewing for IG won’t make the same mistake that I and hundreds of others did. It is honestly just sad how they continue to bring in all these naive college grads and trick them into thinking this is a dream job when it is nothing but a scam. “This is the greatest company to ever work for”, they only promote from within, no one at Imsight Global has ever worked anywhere else and every one who tries to sell you in on working for this company or claims to like it is absolutely brainwashed. Don’t look at the positive reviews. There’s a reason they are so vague and it’s because every employee has to write a positive review to hide the negative ones and our vapid workforce can’t even come up with a detailed review on positive experience. Really take a look at the negative ones on here. They are accurate. This place is just a corporate version of a fraternity except worse. I’m honestly embarrassed to say that I actually still work here.. and as much as management and everyone loves to say that they care SO much about they culture and employees please know that they do not. They do not care about you at ALL. No company that cares about you would put any employee through this kind of hell. Just trust me. There’s a reason why the turnover is ridiculously high. Nothing is worth it, you are better off being unemployed

Shadiest Company To Work For In The U.S.

Pros

Absolutely zero pros. Zero pros.

Cons

I should have listened to the dozens of past employees that worked here. I took this job with the idea that maybe things would be different for me. I had red flags pop up everwhere - from the Southern California offices all the way up to the PNW. Who would've thought that a company as large as this one could still hold such outdated and misogynistic values (blatantly, too!). There is absolutely zero room for growth - do not believe their shady, car-salesman pitch to you in the beginning. This company and everyone who is high up (straight white men) is filled to the brim of lies and you can smell it from hundreds of miles away if you're completely oblivious to the most obvious red flags. This company is tanking. I've heard of several instances where they literally threaten the employees if they try to leave and several sexual harassment stories in the workplace. The most unprofessional company I have ever heard of, 0/10 would not recommend this company to anyone besides to the IRS.
