I had the best manager at Ingredion that I've ever worked for. They care about their employees & everyone works as a team. It was someplace most people would want to retire from.

Cons

Honestly there were no huge down sides.

Pros

Great colleagues and interesting work in R&D.

Cons

Larger corporate structure. More meaningless work and overloaded. Less caring of employee and added BS objectives. Workload has doubled with no increase in resources. Yearly objectives keep changing and are 50% BS. Difficult to achieve higher performance ratings given the ridiculous objectives that are handed down by management.

Cons

Low morale. Poor connection between employees and upper management. No programs or hope for career growth (promotion at manager's discretion).
