Pros

They always worked with my schedule. I worked the weekends to keep up with school and during the holidays, when I asked for an earlier shift, I was given it. Working as a cashier here also gave me the chance to develop my customer service skills and exposure to working in a fast paced environment.

Cons

You're on your feet most of the time, but you'll get used to it. It can also be very stressful during peak hours. And sometimes they'll have you on-call.

ingles has a great work environment and the co workers are all very friendly and helpful

Cons

some of the downsides are rude customers but that comes with every public job
