Pros

none. nothing that I can think of. Was a good company once, but now its turned to he a hell hole.

Cons

lots of things that bad. there is no growth even for good performers. all that matters for the company is operating margin and their brand image to the outside world. people slog at work for 12 to 14 hours without proper compensation. the global delivery model that Infosys boasts about is only possible when employees spend sleep less nights here in the US talking to the offshore team back in India (when its day time for them). Infosys does NOT compensate for this effort. Its expected out of the employees. They JUST abuse the H1B visa system. Shame for a company to do so. They just suck the blood out of you. the middle management is a total MESS and sadly as the company grows, these are the people who take more and more decisions.

Pros

1) Not many. One of the main reasons has to be the fact that you can unleash your career outside India. This happens to be the most important reason to why Infosys successfully retains a major chunk of its strength. 2) Paradise for lazy people. At any time 30% on any given floor at Infosys are idle at work. It gives them enough time and less stress.

Cons

1) You have no control of your career growth - your options are always limited. You could be an awesome programmer but you might just end up being a really bad manager - not because you choose to be one, but because Infosys chooses that path for you. 2) You will end up working with a bunch of idiots (in other words, people who can't speak proper english and have been recruited from the worst possible colleges of India and those who have absolutely no passion what so ever for their job). Your chances are about more than 30% for this scenario.

Pros

There are no pros working for Infosys.

Cons

Employees should be compensated and titled based on the roles they actually perform—not just the roles they were originally hired for. Underpaying and overworking staff inevitably leads to low morale and high turnover. I was hired as an Associate Software Engineer but was later moved into a Product Owner role after an internal interview. Despite the significant increase in responsibility, my compensation remained unchanged, and management refused to update my job title to reflect my new role. This reflects a serious lack of integrity and poor management practices across the board.
