      Pros

      Good People to work with that makes work fun.You get a lot of respect from peers and seniors.Good Career opportunities which comes with the fast growth. Extremely strong middle management who cares for values and stakeholder interest. Excellent events.

      Cons

      Slow decision making,low benefits. The way engagement is given priority, it leaves little time off for career management. Infosys is lucky to have managers who are people oriented so careers are getting managed despite lack of rigorous systems.

      Why you should NOT work at Infosys.

      Pros

      1) Not many. One of the main reasons has to be the fact that you can unleash your career outside India. This happens to be the most important reason to why Infosys successfully retains a major chunk of its strength. 2) Paradise for lazy people. At any time 30% on any given floor at Infosys are idle at work. It gives them enough time and less stress.

      Cons

      1) You have no control of your career growth - your options are always limited. You could be an awesome programmer but you might just end up being a really bad manager - not because you choose to be one, but because Infosys chooses that path for you. 2) You will end up working with a bunch of idiots (in other words, people who can't speak proper english and have been recruited from the worst possible colleges of India and those who have absolutely no passion what so ever for their job). Your chances are about more than 30% for this scenario.

      Pros

      I have been with Infosys for the past 6.5 years. Every day in Infosys has been a learning experience...Everyday there is a challenge that pushes your limits and helps you excel. One gets a lot of opportunities to be creative. Innovation and Ideation is always encouraged. Infosys is a very inclusive organisation.

      Cons

      Like any other organization, we do have some lows in Infosys. Very soon, it is going to be a 100,000 organization. With scale and growth, we have lost the small company culture. A new jonee gets lost in this large organization.
