Pros

Not too stressful. There are so many devs to share the work across. Pay could be better but pays more than smaller companies. Great place to get experience. Free educational learning. Loved my coworkers.

Cons

Must travel. Time to get within a project may take weeks to months. I was taken out of a project when I started my 2 week vacation and placed on bench for months. Basically when on bench you must seek and accept any project available from any client. I accepted many projects but allocated to different clients multiple times. My past project manager was disrespectful, liked to gas light his employees, and enforces his own political views on others. Infosys likes to use their own virtual environment when completing certificates online which is much slower and tends to freeze. Worst part for me was being placed in roles not related to my experience or technical background. Employees with a high title in Illinois need to complete English courses online, which was odd and time consuming. English is my 1st language and my time could be spent elsewhere. A bachelors is required so they should assume English is known in the U.S. I would like to add that there will be plenty of spam mail and phone calls for projects. When scheduled for an interview with a client, they will not give you a date or time. Once I was called for an interview on a weekend while I was shopping. Prepare to work nights with no overtime with the offshore team. I also want to add that during this pandemic, my PM made jokes of the situation and I was ridiculed for wearing PPE in the office. Infosys also claims that you have work from home hours but that is only if your PM approves. It is unlikely because the clients prefer you to be there in person.

Pros

I thought the salary was good for my experience of 1 year in business systems consulting. New Innovation Hub would've been nice to work more from, but I was constantly traveling away from the town I lived in for a project.

Cons

Upon being hired, I was told I would be working locally on a project and that many opportunities would exist for projects in the area. For the 1st month of employment I received almost no info from management about what I was supposed to be doing, the position was remote but I was on payroll. Once the project started I ended up having to fly to a distant city every other week to meet with the client. The project fell behind and I was extremely stressed and overworked. I also had to take over an entire module of the system when my SME left for another module, even though I did not have the experience to be a Lead BA. When the project ended I was on the bench for 5 months because all of the projects required relocation, which I told the manager upon being hired that I would not be willing to relocate. Even though I scored very high in my annual review, eventually I was released since I was not willing to relocate.

Pros

High Salaries but no support for you to engage or perform your responsabilities

Cons

No US resources to speak of. No pre-sales to help you close sales. They promised "Localization" but it is a buzz word to them.
