Pros

Great Infrastructure. One of the best in World (yes I mean it)...that's all.

Cons

1. Once you are allocated a project, irrespective of your qualification, interest, you have to work in that, else manager will force you for disciplinary action. 2.You will be allocated to a Business unit and in that business unit to a particular delivery unit for ex ECS--->IMS, now you will have a DM for ECSIMS which will hold few project that will be in IMS only. You can never get in to development or anything else .since your DM will be having only supports project and he will never release you on bench even after years of service. At most he will offer you other project in his DU. ALL in all you are always working for a delivery manger in subssection (ECSIMS) of a section(ECS). You can never be moved to your will even if you have served considerable amount of time. 3. Even when you come on bench you will be asked to work only for your unit . (xxxyyy) xxxx=ecs, rcl, yyy=ims, ivs you will be mapped to one xxxyyy .for ex if you are in ECSIMS you will always be in ECSIMS and will be in Infra support because even a single project will be run bu multiple DMs which belongs to different yyy. SO ECSIMS DM will not agree to move you in ECSIVS,ECSADM and for moving in verticals i.e. ECS to RCL it next to impossible. 4.Ruined by disgusting policies. 5.Open door policy...exist on paper :-) 6.18 months release...exist on paper :-) 7.AND the biggest of all salary and notice period. Notice period is 3 months and that's not negotiable bcoz that's the only weapon infosys had to stop attrition. I personally can't go for many interviews since no one willing to wait for 3 months and Infosys knows that very well. since most of the employees are willing to quit coz of the salary that's even lower than the salary of our juniors in other companies, this one is the master weapon.

Pros

A good company for starting your career and start your job search immediately after the training and waste not even 1 day by staying in infy after 1 year.

Cons

No career growth. Transition from 1 project to another project is standardized. No planned career. You will be treated like computer, mouse and keyboard. You have no respect. Their salary is one of the lowest compared to any other company. If one project got over your next project allocation depends entirely on your previous manager. If your previous manager is bad then your career will get screwed and you will be made to sit in bench or be given some bad projects. Knowledge wise if you are not alert and planning your career by taking time you will end up erasing all your knowledge.

Pros

None at all. Just terrible.

Cons

Robotic and monotonous jobs, bad salaries, cold hearted employees, managers are completely false and just care for themselves or for the good looking girls, excessive minute by minute control, no ventilation, constant false promises, employees are just numbers - modern slavery at it's best.
