Pros

- If you do not intend to work (provided you do enough apple-polishing) then this is the place. - If you Love Alcohol - then this is the place. You will get to Drink, Drink & Drink till you bing. - Over and above this you get Free Food, free transport and get to learn the art of being perfect in Dirty Politics.

Cons

- If you do not drink then better find some other company. - If you are honest, dedicated and processional then this is NOT the right place - No one more than 2-3 yrs of experience should be think of accepting offer from this Co. (Forget joining) - No long term vision...everything is short term Fix. - Its like Gold plating a rotten ship and trying to sell it in market

Sexual harassment and lack of career advancement

Pros

Informatica had relatively good benefits and a strong reputation in data integration.

Cons

During my time at Informatica a few years ago, I was sexually harassed by executives and peers. After the unwanted and unprofessional advances, I spoke to HR and management. Even though I had been promoted prior to speaking to HR and my management about the sexual harassment, I was not promoted after speaking up. I was not alone-- I spoke to other women at Informatica about their experiences with sexual harassment. I told HR in my exit interview I was leaving because of the sexual harassment and lack of advancement. After leaving Informatica, I did advance in my career and am glad I left. However, I hoped that my speaking up at Informatica would make things better for other women at Informatica. Unfortunately, I have heard/seen reviews from other women that the sexual harassment and lack of career advancement for women remains.

Pros

Best Company I ever worked for and WAS my dream job. Grew with the company since joining 2005 Great Technology and Great People Market leader in some areas and has a great name in the market.

Cons

- I totally agree with the post and echo the sentiments with the post with '“A once great company... ” posted on October 1 - New Inexperienced mangers coming from acquired company alienating staff who have dedicated their whole career with Informatica - Playing catchup in some newer technologies. Need more innovation. - Limited Career path
