The company is not too big and not too small. A great independent company to work for. You get enough opportunities to showcase your skills without the fear of going into obscurity. Most people you encounter are very friendly and helpful. Work environment is a blast with all kinds of facilities. The India center is is strategically important to the company and you get to work on the best stuff here. Team heads are generally friendly want to give you the opportunity to grow in the company rather than use you for their growth. Employee morale is rather high. There appears to be lot of fun outdoor activities planned throughout the year. Company provides a good stock plan which could profitable for people in certain geographies. From a business perspective, the management has been proactive in acquiring companies and have now positioned Informatica as the one stop shop for all data integration and analytic needs.

the salary and benefits were good. it's a large enough company to provide plenty of paths for career advancement. it's small enough that there aren't too many hurdles/bureaucracy impeding productivity. the company is well positioned compared to its competitors. they offer an employee stock purchase plan, which is a pretty good value. the company events can be pretty fun. we went on a few trips.
