Pros

Excellent benefits and the appearance of mobility within the company. Other departments seemed to be quite satisfied with their work and their managers.

Cons

Direct management (up to the Director level) juvenile and vindictive. Your Linked In, Facebook and other social media accounts are monitored. Management claims you can easily transfer between departments then blocks those attempts.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. Informatica does have a formal social media policy and, whilst we clearly do not actively monitor employee's social media feeds, we do address concerns that are brought to our attention that might violate the policy. We actively encourage career progression in many formats; including internal transfers. We have an internal transfer policy to aide employees and hiring managers with internal transfers and HR is also actively involved in this process to ensure smooth internal transfers. A number of roles are filled by internal transfers each year. We will continue to work alongside employees and managers to ensure the process is handled smoothly to allow employees career advancement opportunities.
