Pros

I was with Infor for a long time. The people were great. I was able to learn new skills.

Cons

It is just a combination of purchased software systems. If you are not working on one of the systems they think is critical going forward you cant transfer. C-level is only interested in going public. I was part of a group ofpeople working on products that they sent all the employees to an Indian consulting company (re-badging).

Pros

Most employees work from home and management gives you lots of freedom to do what you want to get the job done. Benefits are nice with 401K match, medical, dental, vision, etc.

Cons

Mid Level managers are all vying for positions. Unprofessional management that curses at employees. Minimal training and minimal support. Processes are outdated - especially for a company trying to be a Saas company.

Pros

Infor has a decent PTO program and health care benefits for the employee. Work from home opportunity is a great draw for certain positions.

Cons

Infor has the lowest pay scale out of all the companies competing for the same workforce. The upper management is paid handsomely while the rest of the workforce is left fighting over commission, bonuses, pay raises. It is a company that will hold you over until the economy improves and the economy is now improved so there is a high turnover rate. Upper management just needs to stop looking at ways to meet their financial goals so they can go public and devote some of that energy into rewarding the employees. There are too many middle managers that fluff their work so they can get ahead and be rewarded for the little they do. If Infor is truly to compete with SAP, Oracle and the like, it needs to develop from within and provide a work environment similar to Microsoft, Google that keeps their best assets happy - their employees.
