      Not what it once was, but still not bad

      Pros

      Amazing benefits, WLB is good although declining. Generally very smart and helpful engineering culture.

      Cons

      Somewhat directionless, priorities seem to come and go on an hourly basis. Leadership is not used to handling tough economic times, and has used double speak and sleight of hand to try and cover for employee unfriendly policies, rather than simply owning them.

      The strategy for the company has completely shifted in the last few years, it used to be "job seeker first", now the main goal is to reach lofty revenue goal that seems completely out of touch with reality. Problematic leaders are not properly dealt with, which creates toxic culture, even though there ar many perks associated with tech companies - it's not enough. If you're not in Sales, the yearly merit increase is laughable, and for some departments there is no clear path for promotion, which leaves your salary barely increasing with the rising cost of labour year over year. The recent shift away from DEI was really disappointing to see.
