Pros

Solid company, great product, market place dominance, free food, decent base pay

Cons

As a sales person who's worn many hats and sold in this industry as well as others previously, I've seen worse, however I've seen a lot better too. The senior management, has so much on their (his) plate due to a recent buy out, and expected growth. This is a problem, because it's now a cut throat atmosphere in the workplace, and EVERYONE has steep goals to meet. I enjoyed and appreciated my colleagues and immediate report, however this is the most internally competitive role I've ever had. This is a 100% cold prospecting, cold calling role which means you need to find your own leads to call on in order to have work to do that day. If you have leads or not, you still have call numbers to reach. The problem is the opportunities are few and far between, and you are limited to what you can call on. At the same time, you must request leads from your colleagues to keep a pipeline to call on. Attrition is the main problem that needs to be solved. Keep us happy. Sales people can and will move around if the opportunity isn't fulfilling enough, or if there aren't enough tools or resources in place to allow us to succeed. In closing, this was a rough bump in my sales career as I had high hopes for myself there. Again, the company is well grounded, but the sales floor is as cut throat as it gets.

Pros

Indeed is a fast growing international company, recently opening offices in Germany and Australia. 2 Sales reps asked to move to help build the new offices and got an amazing opportunity to work in new countries. ( I am jealous ) I am based in Dublin. Another pro is the first week training is in New York/Stamford. Great for your first week to get an introduction into indeed and meet people.

Cons

It is a work hard play hard environment. Indeed has aggressive growth plans and sales are required to make 60 calls a day. ( its not for everyone ) I enjoy the targets and growth and being part of building this company. It is still a young company which is a + and -. I have great passion for the product which helps me sell and believe in the management team. They also have lots of Sales incentives. Someone just won a trip to Croatia all expenses, I am hoping to win the next one. This is a very fast growing company and if it takes 60 calls a day to hit my target I will make 60!

Pros

Indeed is a great place to work if you love being in a sales capacity. You can make a lot of money fairly quickly. The other roles seem to be compensated fairly as well.

Cons

Most of the people here are very young, FRESH out of college. This leads to the culture being very frat-ish. Also, managers are always stressed and tend to take it out on the people they lead. If something comes down the pipe from senior management be prepared to take some heat. You will also be expected to perform at the same level as more senior people on your team which can be very frustrating.
