Pros
Indeed has only been amazing since I've worked here. I've been promoted a couple of times, I've taken home some very good commission and bonus, whilst also having unlimited paid leave, catered breakfast and lunch, beers on a Friday, and a higher than average super. We play sports, we get massages, we have trivia nights, we have offsites. There's a lot of benefits.
There's been a bit of negativity so it's worth addressing... We've gone through some changes in the past year, which essentially meant a new Sales Director came in, realised we were firing at 50%, and wanted to get us to work hard and make money. He did this because he is a Sales Director and wants the best for his staff and for the company, not because he is evil, or bad at his job. This resulted in a fair few people leaving who had been along for an easy ride, who suddenly didn't like being told they had to work. It's a Sales job ... it's hard work ... that said, I make more money than most of my friends outside of Indeed who work in sales, who also work longer hours. It really isn't bad at all.
Long-term, this is excellent news for us, as we now have teams of people that are enjoying their jobs, enjoying sales, and being nurtured by management to improve on a daily basis. The team culture is good, the management is now good, and the job is good. We don't have any call stats or KPIs... as long as you're tracking to your number, you're left to your own devices.
Cons
It took a bit too long to get the bad apples to leave - which had a knock-on effect on the wider team. It took us a bit of time to get to where we want to, but we're there now.
We've gone from 40 staff to 150 staff in a short space of time, so space is tight. But rumour has it we're getting more office space, giving us much more room for activities.
