Pros

If you enjoy being part of a clique or like leaving work for someone else to do then the Finance Centre in Stockport is definitely for you. You don't need any experience as management will want to shape you through 'micro-management' down to your desk trays and folders, hence most people are school leavers with few qualifications and a high staff turnover.

Cons

The team leader likes to bully somebody into leaving, it simply varies who she picks on for a particular day. No payrises since 2016 isn't great, but the continued increase in workload is unprecedented. Now taking on extra work that should be done inside car dealership service departments. The culture of bullying is by far the worst aspect of life there - many can testify to changing teams in order to distance themselves from at least 3 of the assistant or team leaders.

Pros

Great pay plan if you can sell cars, including share options, paid commission during holidays and of course a nice new demo. Good team spirit in the right dealership Some really great managers Pretty flexible with regards to holidays and days off

Cons

It's selling cars; Long hours. Poor poor pay plan if you can't sell cars, seriously car sales is not for you! Some bonuses may be based upon a non-right to reply customer feedback survey. Saturday working, each and every for most. Every other Sunday working too. Part of the car prep system may mean that absolute idiots get involved; their low standards will be your fault and again could impact your pay. In my opinion as long as you sell cars, look after your customers and treat colleagues reasonably its a great place.
