During the last 11 months since joining Inchcape, one thing is super clear. The drive, passion and support that is running through the veins of the UK businesses and for that matter the global side of Inchcape is clear to be seen. A true test of direction and leadership can be measured in difficult times, something we have all experienced through Covid19. The group senior leaders have demonstrated a level of understanding, planning, empathy and most of all determination to ensure all colleagues are clearly communicated with and that everyone understands the plan, that they feel safe and secure. Since our operations have opened up fully, the super positive feedback over social media from customers are a reflection of the positive communications and plans created to re open out sites. Meaning I believe the Inchcape UK businesses have stood head and shoulders above many retail operators. Most of all giving everyone the confidence for the future.

I have only experienced positive and clear direction since starting.

Thank you for your hard work, support and dedication through this difficult time. Inchcape have two priorities for the coming week; to lead in safety and drive performance. In order to really accelerate this business and make sure all of you, your colleagues and our customers remain safe, we must now make sure that all of our safety processes become an ingrained habit. Our absolute business focus for the coming weeks is to make sure we regain profitability by delivering every sold car to customers as quickly as possible. We must demonstrate that we are capable of recovering this business quickly. The more successful we are in our performance, the sooner we can return more of our colleagues back to work. Senior Management provided excellent communication to all colleagues during a very fluid and difficult time carrying on it's tradition of being a caring employer

The company can be a bit "one approach fits all" in it's structure and staffing levels
