Very little investment on training, coaching, improving skillsets etc - UNLESS you are in senior leadership. I have seen CONSTANT training sessions for senior team all throughout the year, yet the Consultants/Sales has to wait until Q3 to receive their first training of the year. It is very tough to get support here - HR goes straight to the general manager if you have any complaints or issues. (even though you're told the talk will be 'confidential') The company is now quite top heavy - too many generals and not enough soldiers. Sorry but outsourcing everything to India won't solve your problems, just create new ones (oh but I guess EBITDA will look pretty good then? And that's all that seems to count now, right!)

Recently IMS was taken private by a PE firm so a lot of institutionalized bureacracy starts to emerge. Since I just joined the firm (less than 6 months) , I didn't realize the cultural differences, but people who have stayed here longer had some complaints about the bureacracy.
