Pros
Inspiring work environment with great possibilities to grow. In ten years I went from an Administrative assistant to a manager in the corporate office. Excellent benefits with great flexibility. As a single parent, this was VERY important to me. There is no hierachies here and everyone is heard- from the store co worker to the president. It is very much a team environment.
Cons
Retail experience is very important. For someone who does not have the IKEA store experience it is a little tougher to excel but definitely not impossible especially if you are open to working in the retail environment.
