Pros

Free coffee, clean bathrooms, air conditioned and heated work environment.

Cons

Management wants us supervisors to treat our subordinates as if they are peons, and the managers will justify it by saying they took university level Management classes that taught them to treat employees poorly. If employees try to report management to HR, the managers will find out who reported them and then threaten to fire those employees if they complain to HR again in the future. The managers are friends with each other and will favor their friends/spouses when promotions and/or new positions become available. Managers value quantity over quality when it comes to job performance. This attitude damages the relationship between the company and the hundreds of casinos we deal with everyday, as employees are encouraged to keep calling casinos on minor, low priority issues that the casino personnel don't have time to worry about.

Pros

Good learning experience about gaming, if you can get out of the office and go to casinos

Cons

The company organization is an inverted pyramid – way too many managers (more vice-presidents than admin assistants) and way too few worker-bees. The company tends to reduce lower-level staff (administrative assistants, etc) to hire more vice-presidents. Further, to save money to make the stock look better, employee benefits (other than manager bonuses) have been drastically reduced. Management bonuses continue to rise, including giving upper-management shares and shares of IGT stock

Pros

Work/Life Balance work hour flexible for salary pay employee

Cons

There is no ladder for real talented engineer. An Engineer III could have super better technical skill than staff or senior staff engineer. Engineer level is a joke
