Industry leader, gained knowledge of gaming industry, there are great people that work here, gym on site, cafeteria on site, good benefits

Cons

lack of communication between departments, didn't feel i was given many opportunities for advancement, teams are not rewarded based on performance

Pros

Flexible working hours. Benefits are on par with or better than most companies in the area. Salary is good. Great people to work with.

Cons

Current climate of uncertainty is scaring good employees away. Having to be on call for customer support 24/7 gets old.

Pros

My current manager and director have excellent managerial skills and use them to run a great department. The hours are flexible, the work is interesting, and the people are very professional. It's a great place to learn about the gaming industry.

Cons

It seems there are too many layoffs. I understand that a company needs to do whatever it can to progress, but laying off people and paying out millions in dividends all within 2 weeks of each other is not a good idea. Someone is making decisions that are not in IGT's best interest. IGT's best interest is Gaming. Advancement is taking too long. It may be a bad time to be looking for advancement, but with no opportunities you will lose the talent.
