Pros

There's a great work-life balance here. If you encounter any issues whether it be problems with software or lack of communication, etc, management is great about working with you to make sure things are taken care of.

Cons

Lack of communication is a big issue, and it's hard to function on a team where all of your teammates are overseas if you're not communicating well. It was not communicated to me that I was switching positions until after it was set in stone. It was an involuntary change that forced me to adapt, but it would've been nice to have that communicated to me beforehand. Also, instead of being trained on the software you're working on, colleagues tend to take on your tasks themselves for the sake of time. For the greater good, it would've been worth the time it would take to answer my questions instead of completing my task for me. Invest in your employees! Take the time to answer questions because it'll be worth it in the long run!

Cool industry to work for (Lottery game development)

Very old school, need to have better work life balance, not a lot of opportunity for growth, benefits are average.

Pros

The actual work is not hard at all and great if you want an easy 8-5. Met some great people, unfortunately they all quit to go on to 'normal' companies interested in success.

Cons

The management is unethical and immoral. They treat employees differently and its not based on merit but possibly latent racism, or other irrelevant motivations. Hyper-political atmosphere, two-tier class of employees game-designers managers are golden, if you are not applying for that good luck! What is worse is the products are horrible, and take forever to get released. Do yourself a favor if you want a career skip this company, if you need the money good luck.
