Pros

Pay and hours (high and low). You don't have to do a lot to get by -- for some that may be a good thing, but for me that was frustrating.

Cons

While there may be a big picture plan, you wouldn't know it by the initiatives that are place nor the management team that is being assembled (and reassembled). Lack of discipline and unstructured thinking about their opportunities and challenges is a real problem.

Good place for parking yourself and start looking for long term job

Cons

The CEOs have done the job of cost cutting including coffee creamer. The CEOs have took and will take home lots of money. The work cultture is pathetic. The managers higly incompetent and political. Do not do other teams works.

Apollo is killing the company's future

IGT has really good engineering and architecture teams.

Cons

The company is now run by Apollo, a PE firm that appointed a new CEO, Hector Fernandez. They're ruining the company's future by cutting key engineering staff who do critical work, to reduce expenses. There's no investment in the future, they're only interested in draining the cash out. It's now a pretty bad place to work.
