location in city, parking is expensive some management old school/archaic practices cut throat environment lack of remote flexibility

Very typical. Competitive 1st salary. They offer all the "tools" you need to work. Avoiding micromanagement.

Cons

Extremely slow salary increases unless you upgrade your role, which is not easy. Very slow improvement even at simple things, because of bureaucracy.
