Oblivious management that will drain you of your will to care about the job you do. When IGT was bought out by GTECH, everything that made IGT a great company was just discarded. Management has absolutely no idea about cause and effect and has completely lost the abilty to hire and retain employees for any length of time. We lost new employees in our department at the end of training. Absolutely no idea how to manage and motivate employees. Way too much window dressing and not enough substance. Benefits are laughably call such there .

Work/life balance is condoned. Everyone seems friendly.

Cons

Male dominated work place. EOE for female mgmt. doesn't exist here. A select few of employees get promotions, and they typically shuffle around positions to get more promotions every few years. Average time to get a promotion is 6 - 10 years. Raises are 0.5 - 2% on average, every year since I started.
