Pros

Great atmosphere, friendly employees, supportive store managers, and financially secure company. Freedom of physical activity and movement while performing job.

Cons

Salaried managers often get taken advantage with hours worked. Pay for stress of the job doesn’t match, and neither does the salary compared to business competitors. More and more responsibilities added in with an unrealistic means to be successful. Bonus is hard to achieve in certain geographical markets due to completion’s influence on sales.

Pros

Nothing at all. Worked several years at Metro before with excellent atmosphere at work and excellent and respectful managers. IGA is totally the opposite.

Cons

Have to act as a slave and we were not allowed to talk between us, managers shouting at us, swearing like a trooper on us... No respect at all. Worst place to work.
