      Pros

      Easy to get hired, some okay benefits

      Cons

      This company should be called International Friends and Family, in the worst way possible. Nepotism and favoritism, runs rampant. There are people who have been there for forty years, that have the attitude that they “own” the job and can behave however they like. Because they know they are not going to be fired. The pay is low and a lot the work is very physical. The starting wage is $15 which is pitiful for the work load.

      Pros

      Compensation and 401(K) match is good as well. Annual incentive plan is good (if your position is included in it). Corporate portfolio is diversified enough that the company is resilient in economic downturns.

      Cons

      R&D has no cohesive strategy. The goal post constantly moves and course changes are not effectively communicated down. Resourcing is too thin for true innovation. Too many presentations distract and demoralize scientists. Retention is poor, engagement is dropping. Little training for new scientists in the fundamentals of the F&F industry.

      Pros

      Overall, providing local IT support provided enough challenge to keep busy, move forward with technology and assist people at every level without causing burnout or boredom. The position was compensated adequately. A good workplace where diversity is encouraged and supported. Decent benefits, closed last week of the year but scant holidays.

      Cons

      Not an abundance of perks outside of the benefits. A well established company that continues to acquire, merge and grow can pose frustrating challenges.
