      Pros

      The company has a strong financial future and great assets. The current CEO in Israel is a true transformational leader with the right mindset to overcome an eroding company culture in a fast changing world. Employee benefits are fantastic and well managed. Human Resources and Legal teams are very well organized.

      Cons

      The company needs to embrace diversity and inclusion, the program exists in embryonic form and it is struggling to find the management commitment The Supply Chain is very immature and needs a great deal of work, this constraint is aggravated by lack of data availability, documented process systems and complimentary SaaS tools. The current model is a 2007 at best.

      Great Progressive Company Overall

      Pros

      I worked in various roles at various ICL facilities. The company offers excellent benefits and was very open to feedback. I had brought to HR the lack of infertility, adoption and paternity benefits and they actually listened and added those benefits the next open enrollment cycle. The company takes a very progressive approach to safety that focuses on leading indicators and learning opposed to blaming employees. The company offers many great opportunities to employees and genuinely cares about your success and career advancement. I only left to move closer to family. Otherwise I’d likely still be working for them.

      Cons

      The bureaucracy created by the headquarters in Israel can make things challenging at times. The opinions in the Americas or any other region outside of Israel never seemed valued. I understand it is an Israeli company but it seemed like everyone outside of Israel was an after thought. Being largely a commodity company the health of the company was constantly influx. This resulted in a few years with minimal or no merit increases. Despite great benefits, at the time I was working for them pay was on the lower side of things.

Although ICL had been a commodity company for many years it has successfully changed to a specialty minerals company over the past number of years and now focuses in food, agriculture and industrial markets. We are also happy to share that since early in 2021, we now have three of the top leaders in the company from the US.
