Pros
IBM contributions into 401k and health benefits are good. The pay for most jobs is a little higher than other companies - that is, whenever they decide to "honor" us with a raise (which unfortunately hasn't been consistent). There are many IBM Facilities and Project Offices all over the world.
Cons
Sending work overseas and laying off their "family" or bringing people in from other countries who take the jobs away from United States citizens. They think they will save money with paying people from other countries lower salaries, but there have been too many problems with communication barriers and time differences. In the long run, I believe there are more problems than solutions. There have also been too many times when IBM has said we had a good year, but then tell us we did not do well enough to warrant giving us raises.
