Pros

Some of the projects are good.

Cons

They under pay employees, provide no work life balance and completely undervalue the work of anyone under a lead or manager position. They take credit for work done by their employees and reviews are completely biased, with no fair review of the manager’s performance; no accountability even with HR involved. Will tell you they are working on making changes but never do. Don’t waste your time at IBI.

Thank you for your review. We are continuously working on ways to acknowledge employees both internally - with the help of our Kudos program which invites managers and colleagues alike to recognize great efforts, and externally – with the help of our Marketing & Communications team and our social media platforms. Also, our Mentorship and Performance Review programs provide a platform where multiple sources have the opportunity to provide support, feedback, and recognition of great work. Your feedback is valuable in that it will help us to continue to improve and make IBI Group an even better place to work. Please feel free to reach out to your local HR Business Partner as they would be happy to work with you on your suggestions to enhance our atmosphere!

Pros

Good to gain that first couple of years of technical experience. Many projects to keep you busy, which means good for building resume.

Cons

You are treated like an hourly rate, not a person. You have to be 100% chargeable at all times (how realistic is this?), otherwise you are asked constantly if you are "at capacity" or if you can take on more projects. The higher level managers get away with a lot of inappropriate behaviour (and the directors and HR lets it slide just because they bring in money for the company). Like many reviewers have said, many people come in but do not stay for long. It is a high stress job, which is normal in consulting, and that is fine if they treated you more like people rather than profit making machines, however that's just not the case.

Pros

The collective is good, especially development team under Liviu.

Cons

No overtime paid (employment agreement says that everything above 40 hours will be paid, but the managers always says take your time later). Later means never!!! because amount of work they give you are huge. They also on interview say that late evening hours only when there are an issue with servers, but then you have to work late night for maintenance (like Windows Updates on monthly basis). Also, creating some kind of tests - feel myself like I am at school. Very stressful environment!!!

Thank you for your detailed feedback. We appreciate the positive comments about the development team and the products we build here. We strive to create an open culture and value feedback so that we can become an even better company. Neither management nor HR were aware of the issues you raised. We wish we could have had the opportunity to discuss your concerns and address these items with you. As with all staff, all overtime hours are paid as per our policy. We sincerely wish you the best of luck in your career.
