For such a large, well known firm, I was disappointed..
Pros
Fairly casual, yet professional atmosphere. It was great not having a formal process and paper to fill if you were looking to take some time off, all you need is to communicate that wish ahead of time with your manager. There will be opportunities to work on projects from other departments if you have some relevant skill. Different floors/departments have a different work environment, and if you are with the right group, you will enjoy the company. Benefits were acceptable to me, use it fully since you paid for it!
Cons
If you don't end up with the "right group", you will find it not as enjoyable or comfortable. There's also a possibility that you will be affected or sacrificed due to poor decisions made by upper management prior to your employment. Company had declined but have gained a bit since hitting "bottom", but it will still be a while before it is clear whether things will improve. Salary adjustments and bonuses should not be expected for the next little while as company is still in the process of cost cutting.
