Pros

Extensive amount of training. Well organised cpd session.

Cons

A very toxic environment where swearing and being vugul was the norm. The staff were cruel and disregarded interns.

Pros

Additional holidays thanks to the company being Canadian owned. Benefits are good. Flexibility in schedules.

Cons

No 401K matching. If you are not part of upper management (e.g. a project manager and above) expect to be low-balled and underpaid compared to what is going in the competitive market. Promotions are non-existent. As management gives you additional responsibilities regardless of your hiring title, they expect more work and will offer little to no pay (no bonus incentive). I have seen other hard-working employees who have been with the company for more than 5 years and still do not receive recognition for their high-quality work or promoted. There are also employees who have been working there for over 3 years and still do not know basic architectural details, which is VERY alarming. Turnover rate is insane: several people hired for different jobs (no upper management titles) and all have left in the past year alone. Poor project management is evident here with so many projects over budget. Micro-management gone all kinds of wrong. PMs love to play the blame game here and avoiding taking responsibility (which is weird considering their salary big enough to TAKE the blame for mismanaging their team), so expect to be thrown under the bus as countless other employees have gotten thrown under for things that were not their faults/responsibilities. There's major disjoint between headquarters in Toronto and local offices. Workplace environment is extremely negative and toxic.
