Pros
People are in general really kind, friendly, and helpful. The department I was in paid no attention to data and had no consideration about ROI. So I guess this is a pro if you're looking for an easy job with no accountability? There is so much red tape and no one can take initiative to do anything so you end up having lots and lots of free time?
Cons
There are so many managers and very few people to actually do the work. Way too many people get promoted who should not be in management positions and who should especially not be in strategic positions. As a result, you can expect to be micromanaged
