Pros

Great work environment, salary, benefits, office morale & office participation, interaction with both president & vice-president of the company, expect to stay busy in a fast paced environment

Cons

This position is a revolving door if you're working for the Shutter training department. Beware of speaking up against a manager, you will later become a victim of office bullying and professional discredit from management. Upper Management's response isn't as urgent as needed.

A great place to work

Pros

It helps when you're really proud of your company's products. Hunter Douglas is the undisputed leader in window shades in the US and worldwide. Job satisfaction will very depending on which site you work at (there are many in North America). I work in Broomfield and employees here feel valued, work well together as a team, and are usually treated very fairly. The benefits package is quite good (good 401K, medical, generous PTO, company events, etc.). You can tell that people like to work here because turnover is very low and it's not uncommon to find tons of people who stay here for decades. Some other benefits: many departments offer some form of flex time, all Fridays are casual dress, great discounts on company products, an on-site gym with lots of classes, and many more. All in all, a great place to work.

Cons

Salaries can be a bit stagnant. Since 2009, we've been stuck at or below 2.5% per year. The only way to get a larger increase is to get a promotion.

Very dysfunctional facility

Pros

Clean, fairly safe work environment. Good people on the manufacturing floor.

Cons

Upper managment is almost unbearable. From the Site Manager all the way down to the Ops Manager. What would be a good place to work is a totally toxic atmosphere.
