I worked for HMA for 10 years. I was given a lot of opportunity to do and learn a lot of different things. Lots of responsibility, hard work, and I really enjoyed the accountability the company expects from its associates.

Cons

The company considers the learning environment part of your compensation. A method of keeping salaries low. Dept, Division and Senior Managers are very political and pick their favorites that are permitted to progress.

Great people - smart, know their jobs, driven, and dedicated to making the company successful. Doing the job and then hearing the finished product (jet engine) start up in the test-cell is a rewarding work experience.

Cons

The only con I have is the location. Being a large-city type person, this facility is in a small town area and was just not what my family wanted.
