Pros

Decent pay, great benefits, and overtime is usually there if you want it.

Cons

Not much complex problem solving, many issues can be solved with common sense and don't require any kind of degree. A lot of 'engineers' have achieved that role through experience within the company and have no actual knowledge of engineering theory.

Pros

Good salary. Subsidised food. Lease car scheme but only after 3 years. Fixed shift patterns. Cant think of much else.

Cons

Offered redundancy twice in the 2.5 years I was there. Poor management, poor quality, too much messing about. Managers think they are he bees knees. Too much work on one process. Ugly, expensive cars. I reapplied and was offered a position recently only to be told several weeks later they didn't want me back.

Good pay and benefits for the area Generally, people are very nice and easy to work with Fitness center is a nice addition

Cons

Awful work/life balance Hard work is rewarded by adding more responsibility, but not awarding promotion with it Shift rotation is difficult to deal with
