Good place to learn, but salary and career path lacking
Pros
- Great Sales Team, everyone is chill and gets along, as we celebrate and struggle together in our work. - Something new everyday, work is fun and can travel outstation every month. (Area Manager) - You will learn valuable soft and hard skills + adapt to a corporate culture, exposure to actual on-ground sales situation. - Good employee healthcare.
Cons
- Travelling outstation every month for 1-2 weeks can be challenging for married people / people with children. - Turnover is high (for the reasons below). - Management expects yes men/women only. - Long standing inter-department politics and double standard treatment of departments can be very demoralizing and frustrating to deal with. - No overtime, be prepared to work extra hours without fair compensation or even acknowledgement. - Very low opportunities for promotion (even just Exec to Senior Exec). Career progression too slow to match current fast pace job market. - Salary increment low and base pay does not match up to the job scope and what is demanded of employees.
