Pros

Health / Medical Benefits are good. You have a job for life if you work here. It's impossible to get fired (regardless of what kind of job you do).

Cons

Poor leadership. Very difficult place to work these days. Workload on salaried associates is almost unbearable. No signs of improvement anytime on the near future. Lost dozens of salaried people the last two years and there are no backfills. There really seems to be a lack of direction and leadership.

Pros

- Good pay for the location - Great benefits - Easy to shine if you have the ability to build relationships and are a hard worker with some intelligence - Pride in Honda name - Definitely not uptight work environment (can be fun actually) - I like the people I work with - Hopeful of future improvements

Cons

- Lots of fingerpointing and backbiting - Terrible relationships between departments - I don't understand alot of Senior Level management decisions and they don't explain them well - Vertical growth (promotions) are limited and often the decisions seem questionable - Not much flexibility if you're on the assembly line - Very little accountability - Seemingly, simple changes take way too long (if they happen at all) - There is definitely a "Grass is Greener" syndrome here. Not much appreciate for what we have, only what others perceive is better somewhere else.

Cons

Company promotes from within Inflexible attendance policies for salaried employees and hourly employees No sick time Different policies and benefits within the U.S.A. at different plants Unreasonable workload on salaried employees Points are assigned when you are late or leave early if you choose to do so without using "Paid Time Off" (salaried and hourly employees) A great deal of time wasted creating presentations Decisions not made quickly, if at all Managers not accessible as they are in meetings all day, most days Unreasonable timelines for projects
