Fun seasonal job on the pier in Seattle with a "ship-shape" management team.

Pros

Management kept employees well informed on schedules, performance and any upcoming challenges. Supervisors were available and supportive. Potlucks and shift rotations helped build esprit de corps. Seasonal and/or part-time employees are allowed access to Friends and Family cruise benefits and corporate job postings.

Cons

Low wages and few, if any benefits.

Good golf tournament once per year

Cons

Arrogance of some of the senior management. Rarely get listened to unless youre high up the food chain. Some of the senior people have different agenda and difficult to trust

With the tremendously high turnover rater, there has been great opportunity to learn new technologies and work on a wide range of projects simultaneously.

Cons

High turnover Non-existent morale No architecture team - ideas are thrown at the wall Vendors are regarded much higher than FTEs No upward movement Lower than average salaries Average benefits No real usable perks for the employee No work/life balance
