Passionate team who care about their work, product and brand. New innovations are being installed onboard, and within the management structure HAL is a high-end brand that maintains its prestige in an oversaturated market that often cheapens their product.

Cons

Still working out kinks in management (ie: who is in charge of what).

Decent benefits; mostly friendly co-workers; good product; embraces diversity; company president making positive changes and trying to do the right thing.

Cons

Legacy systems. Many longtime employees don't want to do any more than they absolutely have to. Overall pay is below market (if you don't like it they can find someone else to fill your role). Change can come slowly with a 143 year old company. Huge gaps between rank & file staff and senior managers. Tradition of being "penny wise and pound foolish."
