Pros

For the most part they leave you alone and let you do your job.

Cons

There is one crazy lady who likes to micromanage and belittles all the workers.

Pros

Fairly flexible shifts. Am able to work permanent part time while being a full time student. Am able to get discount on a gym in my area. Qualify for CostCo wholesale membership. Get staff discounts on IHG group hotels which i have used a few times, from £65 a night to £30 a night for deluxe rooms, however this could change as a different company has bought out the franchise.

Cons

Wages are quite low. Job sometimes feels like hard labour, management cutting down staff numbers, feels a little understaffed at times, Work can get intense on a busy day.

Pros

IHG discounts and benefits are a plus if you get them from management. Tour bus tips are always good when your working late.

Cons

Upper Management needs to spend more time walking the hotels, the actual condition of the hotel and the cleanliness of the halls and grounds make a huge impact on return guests and security.
