Pros

Firm but fair supervisors. Some room to move up the ladder of jobs when available. Benefits available to full-time employees (36 hrs/week).

Cons

Benefits expensive. Needs improvement in the pay scale per job title. Consistent changing work schedule even for full-timers due to it being based on occupancy of the hotel. Hard for a single parent to balance work /family with the changing hours.

Pros

Co-workers were great. Hotel is usually busy, so if you're good at what you do there's a lot of money to be made.

Cons

Holiday Inn's are mostly independently owned. And if you have a bad ownership, which I did, work can be tough. Very cheap, unrealistic expectations.
