Pros

Lots of networking. The guest can be very friendly at time. You never know who you will com across.

Cons

IHG is fine, just make sure the people who own the hotel are not micromanage and make your life a living hell.. (caution to anybody in Columbia,South Carolina "two notch road"). The hours, no holiday pay, extremely high turnover.

Get total fulfillment of doing what I love to do in hospitality and customer service.

Cons

I don't get paid what I know I am worth. Very hard to live off the income I have here.
