Pros

It all depends upon your Franchise ownership. IHG is relatively unconcerned so long as money is being made. GM's are more or less left to their own devices with implementing brand identity.

Cons

Little support at the corporate level compared to other brands. And the corporate training was sub-par. More in line with Choice Hotels than Starwood or Hilton.

Pros

Great hotel benefits and corporate parties. Even as a part time employee I felt included in the culture and atmosphere of the hotel.

Cons

Obviously it wasn't my career, and as a part-time gig, it had some downs. Poor communication and rapid turnover mad shifts and scheduling difficult at times.
