Pros

It is a fantastic company with a lot of opportunities to grow within it. It teaches brilliant skills and comes with comprehensive training.

Cons

Management could sometimes be rude and thus motivation levels were sometimes low between part time members of staff. Nothing can prepare you for customers and so that you have to learn on the job.

Pros

The only pros I can think of are that the hours were consistent and in and out times never varied all too much and since you're stuck behind the front desk there was never very much physical work (like walking or lifting boxes etc).

Cons

Management style and technique was absolutely horrendous. I was never given much instruction on how to do my job, let alone how to do it well. The front desk is the nerve center of the hotel so liasoning between happy/upset guests, housekeeping, the general manager, projects manager etc was trying at times.
