Pros

Hotel discounts, points earning, employee catalog, 401k, flexible schedule, sometimes promote from within

Cons

Long unpredictable hours, unreliable and low raises, promote from within only after hiring from outside and it doesn't work out. Holiday Inn is currently a dying business, I believe it will soon be replaced fully with Holiday Inn Express.

Pros

- They will provide guidance on the job - Friendly co-workers (at least on the surface)

Cons

- Canteen food can be nasty sometimes - Due to being understaffed, counter has to be manned at all times. Sometimes, when shift is over, you have to stay back because supervisor is running "extra duties". After feedback was given, little has changed. - Gossip about co-workers
